I'm kind of undecided between a pugilist and a warrior.I switched over to warrior because we only had 1 and tanks are useful. I'll probably end up playing which one has less people.
Well it looks like Phase 4 will be level capped at 20. So those that are still undecided will have the chance to level multiple classes to see what you like.
I'm torn between black Mage and arcanist. And then again a white Mage. I've always healed in mmos but I've also always wanted to play a caster type dps.
Sounds like Arcanist would be the way to go for you then since it can be either Summoner or Scholar. That way you would have a caster DPS and a healer in one. The only downside is that the two jobs will share the stat points that you put into Arcanist unless they decide to change it by release. But if Summoner can use Cleric Stance from CNJ it should be a non-issue.
Well I generally enjoyed the range attack classes. From what I have read Bard/archer does some damage and adds buffs. I dont know what the job/Class damage is like but I found it fun in the Beta 3 to level 25. Thinking of it in end game terms of pulling, dps, and buffing I think I can handle those responsiblities. Like a cross between Ranger and Redmage from FFXI. Of course tanking and Monk seems very tempting…. I am gona say Bard/ Archer atm.
