Been planning on scholar ever since I seen it, not really positive though since it's not in game, there's not much info on it, and I'm not even sure how to even obtain it, I plan to start as arc and then guess at something to hopefully get scholar instead of summoner.gamegenie
Yeah, SCH will branch off of ACN. At 30 there will be a quest to unlock the corresponding jobs. So you'll be able to do both SCH and SMN if you wish.
So I keep telling myself that I should roll Black Mage as my main and work on White Mage afterwards but I'm still torn between the two every time I sit down to think about it. That and the fact that Scholar looks more and more appealing to me with each bit of info I learn is making this a tough decision for me.
I've typically rolled a healer first in my past mmos but I've always had a soft spot for the black mage ever since I played FF1. I'll probably end up going with Black mage first unless we have a shortage of healers… that would make my decision easier :P
i know that u can lvl all classes/jobs on a singular toon but there are certain races i want certain classes to be guess ill figure that out when it happens.
the combat style of monks seems unique and fun as well as dragoon and who doesn't want to be like rydia in ff2 and be a summoner though there has not been to much given out about summoners but the concept seems out standing.
i though i was reading though that the summoner class wasnt gunna be unlocked til lafter the 1st patch after release , bu tthat could be wrong and it would be smart to release a game with all classes/jobs in check. guess we will find out :p
Looking at the SCH skills it looks like they're going to be very useful in parties. For parties that require two healers I'm guessing one WHM and one SCH will be optimal.
Well yeah, anybody who levels ACN will basically have SMN and SCH leveled by default. You would just have to quest for the skills. Which probably makes ACN the most versatile class since you can switch between DPS and healer just by changing your job stone.
yea from what ive read there isnt much of a difference btw arc, smn, sch aside from the job specific spells and different pets i like how the fairie for sch has great healing potential but i wish there was a more mainly pet lol. guys with fairies whats the world comingto lol
