Theres no problem with them unless you want to WvW. Don't expect to be doing any WvW with a massive alliance with 10+ guilds each with 100+ players when theres a hardcap limit on how many players can participate at a time.

Hopefully they can raise the hard caps on-the-fly depending on the demand; like they said they would be able to do to the general servers.

The other thing with big alliances, is other guilds tend to follow them around because they want to be on the "winning" server. Like TL's alliance has a huge following. The main thing I'm concerned about is getting all of our own people on the same server.

After that I don't really care either way. But like Ziddy said, if you want a chance at participating in WvW without having to wait in queue for hours, it's best to avoid the big alliances. 150 zone cap is pretty small. I mean I'm sure they'll increase it some, but probably not that much.

So is everyone okay with going with Ehmry Bay? If so I'll go ahead and declare it our default launch server for now. Looks like our guild work neighbors sea of stars are also rolling on there.

Borlis Pass may also be a good option as well.

I'm good with Ehmry Bay. We also have a week of free server transfers i think, so worse case scenario we can just move.
