Looks like PS3 UI or if your using a controller on your PC. Only issue I can see is movement while using abilities but I don't know the exact set up for ps3.

Yeah, they're cross bars if you're using a gamepad.

I've been looking at the game a lot more since the start of this year. I got a chance to play some of the beta and this game definitely made me forgive them for 1.0. I hope to have more time to play when it releases.
