Not sure but I believe you can if you link your gw1 characters to gw2, but then they'd have to be your gw1 character names.

Question: Are we planning to be on game all weekend, or are there any particular times we want to do things as a group?

The reason I ask is that exams are coming up for me, so while all my free time will be going to GW2, I might want to prioritize when I play.

I think we'll be mainly just using this weekend to get a feel for the game, try out different classes and what not to see what we want to roll for launch. For me personally though, my shift change went through so I'll have all weekend off and will probably be on pretty much all weekend. Some others I believe will probably be on most of the weekend as well. So any grouping will probably be spur of the moment.

What Prox said. Most people will want to explore the first time around.
If we're looking for group activities, they'll probably be a bunch of us questing and pvping together at any one moment.

A lot of people have finals to study for this weekend. And I want to encourage you guys to focus on school and do well on your exams. There will be more betas soon enough (i hope).

Also, you can use the vent widget on the front page to get a good idea if people are on at any given moment if you want to time your play around when other people are on.

Hey one question, are server transfers available for the BWE's ? I'm on a different server and I want to switch to Ehmry Bay.

They should be, we all switched servers before.

Yeah, they had free server transfers up last beta weekend so they should probably still have them in. If for some reason they're not, you can at least still do sPvP with us as it's all cross-server.

Everyone have 500 gems to use, so even if it's not free, you can use it to transfer. No worries.
