Hmm usually SLI support goes on the graphics card driver doesnt it?

I mean, sure the game dev can make it easy to implement, but it all falls down to the manufacturer (nvidia for instance) to make it. I remember that bf3 didnt had sli support up until the late beta's when nvidia released a beta drive that had support in it.

I'm not sure, but for FF14, I had to get a custom profile to get sli to work, but even then the performance increase was minimal. I think the dev needs to actually work it in there for you to have gains.

In related news, my RMAed EVGA card just got shipped back to me and should arrive right in time for beta. If they give me the same card back, I can test SLI for the beta.

Yeah, but in this case they specifically said it should be disabled for the beta. They also said there's a problem with overclocked CPUs and GPUs. I dunno though, I'll probably try it with SLI first to see if it's playable.

Yeah i can test it too.

But im pretty sure we need a profile from the drive or a custom one. Usually the one from nvidia works better :P

And i cant see arenanet not adding sli support frmo the beggining.

Maybe it wasnt released to nvidia for NDA issues or stuff like that? Maybe it is just later in the development pipe line.
