At the end of the "Future of Online Games" panel, Jon Peters stuck around to show off and talk about GW2 a bit. One of the things he said was

"We made the game a little harder too, so get ready. It's not as easy as you think it is. I know people have said it's a little easy, but just get ready, you'll see soon enough."

This is a good speech Jeff Strain, one of the founders of Anet, gave a few years ago about creating a successful MMO. This gives me more faith in Anet.

Interesting stream here with the Alpha Collective PvP team. Apparently they streamed like 60+ hours straight of sPvP during beta weekend. They discuss their thoughts on PvP balance, strategies, etc.
