So apparently the game won't be launching with an auction house, and instead you'll have to rely on interacting with other players, or using the "Guild stores" to get items. It will be very interesting to see how this turns out, especially since the best gear in the game is crafted gear.
I keep going back to FFXIV 1.0 and remembering what a disaster that was. Granted that was only one of the problems with that game though, and their solution with the retainers was a pretty big cluster fuck. So this will be interesting. One thing they did mention though was that when a guild claims a keep they can open up a shop to sell to players outside of the guild. Which gives people more reason to enter the RvR zone.
I have enjoyed it so far, still on the fence whether I'll play when it goes live just because mouse and keyboard is really starting to hurt (that's also why I didn't like Wildstar).
Imperials are open for testing this weekend as well as access to Daggerfall. This is probably the smoothest closed Beta I have ever tested,I also still have extra key's for those interested in it.
Yeah the last test was last weekend. PvP looks interesting in this game, but to me it doesn't seem worth $60 and a sub fee. The questing was okay, but the gameplay just feels too clunky. As I said previously, it's okay if you play it like a single player game, but that's not really what I'm looking for from an MMO.
I have a similar problem with it Prox. ESO is a great game with little bits of lore and story, good graphics, and interesting foes. However I found the combat clunky. To the point that is was something I wanted to avoid. So I agree it isn't worth the $60 and sub. This game might be fun for others and a cool MMO+Elder Scrolls combination, but I'm staying out of it.
I'll probably pick it up after the launch. Price doesn't bother me mmo's save me so much since ill buy a new title every week if I don't have something to do. If I get 3 to 5 months out of it it'll be worth it.
