Yeah, this is probably the best PvP video I've seen from beta so far. It's funny to see when so many people are complaining that this is the weakest class in the game. Granted, these guys weren't the best players. But can you imagine multiple Engis running this spec and just running in a bomb group? Can't wait until the game is out and evolves to see the combinations people come up with.

yeah to counter that a team would need a heavy aoe comp..

Thats what i like on this game… basically everysingle thing a team can try you can actually build yourself against that =)

EDIT: Granted that you know they are doing that :P

Yeah, it's going to take a while to master the game and learn what each profession is capable of. I love how deep the PvP is in this game.

Some changes mentioned by Jon Peters in a recent interview:

Mine Kit is no longer a kit. It is a single mine that works as the elements of the kit did, but now, when you detonate that mine, it knocks enemies back and removes boons. This means that you can throw it at your feet and then blast people away from you, or you can throw it past a fleeing enemy and detonate it to blast them back toward you. The tool belt has been replaced with a “drop mine field around my location” skill, which toggles to “detonate mine field.”

There was a leaked video from the BWE3 build that was apparently taken down pretty quick. But here's some changes people were able to pick up on before it went down:


Incendiary powder now 33% chance on 2 sec burn for ALL crits

Sharpshooter 30% chance to bleed for 3 sec on crit (not sure if it was like that before or if numbers were different)

Flamethrower base attack now alwas deals 1 second of burning with the last hit

REMOVED the pull (5) of flamethrower and added a blind instead you can use while knocked down

Elixier B now additionally gives Retaliation for 10 seconds

Medkit packs can only be picked up now when in combat (was it like that before?)

!! Might will now not only add 35 power but also 35 condition damage making might useful for condition builds !!

Static Shot tooltip now definitely states it will blind and confuse all (!) targets hit for 3 seconds (up to 4 targets)

Blow Torch will get more effective below 200 range now adding 6s of burning instead of 2s (600 range), I think there were 3 range intervals before

Glue Shot now seems to work like Muddy Terrain actually crippling targets inside for 1 second per tick over 6 seconds on top of the initital 1 sec immobilize

New Elixier U (seems they reworked randomness <3):
Gives 5 seconds of Quickness ALWAYS with one of the following debuffs: Frenzy (take 50% more dmg), Haste (regenerate no endurance) or Zephyr (cannot be healed) also for 5 seconds
