I would like to give a brief status update on the guild and where we're headed for those that are interested. Generally in games we tend to be pretty casual and laid back within the first month or two to give people time to level up, craft, mess around, whatever. After that we will probably start getting into the habit of having more scheduled events, assuming there's enough interest in that sort of thing. So I will go over each area separately.

PvE and Dungeons


Once most people are high enough level we may start doing some scheduled dungeon runs to run people through for end game gear. For those that don't know, the way the dungeons work in explorable mode is you get tokens which you can then use to purchase gear from vendors in Lion's Arch for that particular dungeon. Since there is no raiding in GW2, I feel that dungeons will really be the extent of the more structured events with open world stuff being more impromptu.

WvW



For those that missed our first scheduled WvW event as a guild, we showed that strategic planning and coordination can overcome numbers advantages. Not only that, but it was just a lot of damn fun. If there's enough interest we will hold more of these events in the future.

sPvP



Our sPvP team has been and still is hard at work theorycrafting builds and strategies for sPvP to become the best they can possibly be. While the current team is already a set group, the idea is to bring the ApeX name to the forefront so that the rest of the guild can have a place they're proud to call home.

Trial Members

Our trial member roster will constantly be in flux as the way it's structured is to see if people are a good match for the guild before they fully commit to us and vise versa. I would like to just remind our current trial members that things we look for in full time members are vent activity, site activity, and your activity in the game. For the last one, we don't just look at how often you're on, but how you interact with the rest of the guild when you are. It's not always easy joining up with a bunch of people you don't know, but we're looking for people that are outgoing and like doing stuff with the rest of the guild.

I cant wait to be in a wvw event… i tried it solo and it was fun. ^_^

Sounds good. Just did my first dungeon last night (post about that coming) and so I can't wait to get into harder content and more WvW.
