Hey guys. The title pretty much says it all. I don't want to get too in depth about macros and there uses as there are plenty of youtube videos and forum posts elsewhere explaining how to use macros as well as there commands. I just thought i would mention 2 commands that i figured most people would find useful.

The first one I am going to mention is the command /recast. When used this command will let you know the cooldown of the ability. I do not know if this shows it on your ability bar or simply in your chat log. I will use it during early access to see which it does. The command for this ability would be something like:
/ac Rampart
/recast Rampart
What this does is casts Rampart on yourself and the recast command tells the game to display the time til its off Cd.

Another macro command i think most people will be glad to see is the mouseover command <mo>. What this does is cast the ability on the target you have your mouse cursor on. This command will most likely be used by tanks and healers. I know healers will love this command. You can simply pop the macro while mousing over a party frame of someone in your group you want to heal and it will cast the heal on them. An example of this is:
/ac Cure <mo>
What this does is cast Cure on whomever's party frame you are currently mousing over.

I figure we can maybe use this thread to start macro discussions or post macros we use or ideas for ones we would like to use.

So people have been asking about being able to target brands. You can make a macro for each brand and put it on your hotbar.

/ta <attack1> (this targets anything marked with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.)
/ta <bind1> (this targets things with the bind brand)
/ta <ignore1> (this targets thing with ignore)

When there are a cluster of mobs, targeting the correct thing is essential. Highly recommend adding these macros to your bar.

To show the icon of a skill in a macro, type:

/micon "skill name"

/mk attack1 <t>
/ac "Repose" <t>
/p hey idiots dont attack <t> its slept….
