[FFXIV] Race/Gender?

So what race/gender is everyone playing? I am still undecided. I thought about being a big macho male Roegadyn since that's the closest to me in rl, but someone on the general forums brought up a good point, in random pvp, people often like to attack the biggest person. Also as I'm planning on playing mostly casters and I don't think he looks too good in a robe. I don't like the lalafells, the elezen, or the male Miqo'te, so I am torn between cute cat girl or boring humans…

I'm going human for the stats, but I think i'd rather go for a shorty person. Anyway, female it is for me, unless they add some better models for the dudes.

Since our characters will be mainly covered with armor, it's coming down to the animations for me. From what I've seen Male Miqo'te have the best animations. But yeah, a lot of the male options are pretty sad, especially for the humans. Also, I wouldn't put too much into the stats as they don't scale with level. So at end game it ends up coming out to a few point difference which won't really affect anything.

Ehh I'll probably go with human male… boring I know. Although lately I have been considering going with a male lalafell.

I'm going Male Lalafell GLD/PLD, i am also having secodn thought on GLD/PLD and going WAR….(since they can tank as well)

in my world for pvp the Shorter you are the better you survive, those poor giant dudes will be primaried every chance, When we where running around taking screen shots trying to target the little archer to tag was next to impossible,

for me ill play the little cat girl I think, Dragoon Jumping feline is the hotness .

The character creation release confused me even more than before, I like all of the characters I have built so far, and knowing that I will more than likely be playing just 1 all my ff career (although the potion to change your race/sex now has been added in game in limited quantity I'm sure) I'm less sure than ever of which to pick.
